ALL roads for local boxers will lead to Gatton on Friday, July 28, as they grab their last chance for a tune up before the 2023 Golden Gloves tournament.

Walloon Rebels Boxing Club Coach Robbie Sbeghen has impressed on his team the value of a final fight before the biggest championships of the year. Zion Ipswich City Coach Jessica Cashman said he will take a team of seven fighters to Gatton and hoped these and one other fighter would be contesting the Golden Gloves in Brisbane in August.

Fight Wright Camira and Warriors Boxing Club Carol Park are also priming their fighters by using the Gatton fight night which will be staged by local boxing legend Noel Thornberry.

The Golden Gloves titles draws fighters from all over Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
It will be fought out over four days in Brisbane at the Caboolture Boxing Club from August 24-27.
