Fundraiser a winner for local Hospice

THE Bremer River Day Club continued its community fundraising journey with another successful event last week.

They marked down Ipswich Hospice as the main benefactor for the annual fundraiser and at end of the morning at the CSI Club handed over a cheque for more than $3100.

Supporting the members of the Day Club, were the women from the Red Hat Group and members of Ipswich Railway RSL Sub Branch President of Sub Branch, John Dredge stood in as the MC for the day.

A selection of more than 40 raffle prizes including gift baskets from State MP’s Jim Madden and Jennifer Howard provided the incentive for those attending to dig deep for a great cause.
