IPSWICH Hospital’s commitment to perioperative excellence has been recognised after being selected to host part of an innovative new Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists course next year.

The ANZCA Course in Perioperative Medicine is composed of online learning, in-person workshops and a clinical immersion component, with Ipswich Hospital the only Queensland Health hospital to be chosen as a clinical immersion site.

The great work being done to support older people in the region has received international recognition.

WEST MORETON ON SHOW

West Moreton Health Nurse Navigators Amanda Woolcock and Rosemary Dickson were joined by Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN Digital Health Co-ordinator Renata Danisevska to highlight their work on the Project ECHO: Older Persons community of practice at the international 2023 Successes and Failures in Telehealth Conference in Adelaide in November.

The team presented a poster to highlight the partnership between West Moreton Health and the PHN in addressing older persons’ care in our communities.

The Project ECHO telehealth platform aims to build a community of practice for clinicians working with older people in the region.
