FOLLOWING in his dad’s footsteps, Gordon started his apprenticeship as an electrician at Wolston Park Hospital in 1980.

After working for a few other companies, he joined West Moreton Health in 2003 as an electrician and, 20 years on, the spark is still there.

Gordon lives locally and said, for him, getting a job close to home was like winning the lotto. He loves the variety of work the job offers and, although he is based at Ipswich Hospital, he services all sites, enjoying trips to West Moreton Health’s rural facilities.

FOUR MORE DO 20

Gordon’s not the only one to serve for 20 years at West Moreton Health.
