LISA Weatherhog is a passionate and experienced sales agent with Century 21, bringing six years of real estate sales experience and a lifetime of local knowledge to her clients.

Before moving into property sales, Lisa worked alongside her husband in a building inspection business – an experience that gave her valuable insight into homes and sparked her interest in selling them.

“My husband encouraged me to take the leap into real estate sales, and I haven’t looked back since,” Lisa said. “I’m still loving helping people buy and sell homes.”

Born and raised in Ipswich, Lisa has deep roots in the community and takes great pride in helping people make the city their home.

“Ipswich is now a thriving city. I’m proud of everything we have here – why would you want to live anywhere else?” she asked.

Lisa believes her team at Century 21 stands out for their genuine local knowledge and commitment to clients.

For Lisa, real estate is not just about transactions, but about people and their stories. One of her most memorable sales was for a family selling their childhood home after more than 50 years.

“It was an emotional sale – eight siblings had grown up in that house, and it was full of cherished memories,” Lisa said. “I was honoured they chose me to help them. The buyers were a young family with three children and another on the way.

“It felt wonderful knowing that home would now be filled with new, happy memories.”

When it comes to the current market, Lisa describes Ipswich as a place where buyers can still get great value.

“The Ipswich market is strong and still moving,” she said. “First-home buyers and young families are drawn here because homes are more affordable compared to where they’re moving from.”

Lisa’s advice to sellers is simple: preparation pays off.

“It’s the biggest asset you own, so invest in presenting it to the market at its best,” she said.

For buyers, Lisa encourages research and readiness.

“Do your research on Ipswich suburbs and their median prices,” she said. “Make sure your finance is organised, and have a conveyancer chosen so you can act fast when you find the right property.”

Above all, Lisa is known for her personal, dedicated approach.

“By working with fewer clients at a time, I can offer a more tailored, focused service,” she said.

Away from work, Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors, camping with family and friends, and is proud to be part of a city that she describes as a hidden gem.

“In the last five years, more people have discovered how wonderful it is to live here,” she said.
