SUMMER has arrived early at Club Services Ipswich, with the Longhorn Bar & Grill unveiling a mouth-watering new spring/summer menu packed with fresh seafood, premium steaks, hearty pub classics and something to satisfy every appetite.
Whether it is a leisurely lunch with friends, a family dinner or a weekend catch-up over a delicious meal, the new menu brings together familiar favourites and tempting new flavours, with plenty of reasons to pull up a chair.
Seafood lovers are particularly well catered for, with Moreton Bay Bugs taking pride of place among the seasonal offerings.
Served in a creamy miso sauce alongside jasmine rice and garden salad, the Moreton Bay Bugs are available in three-piece or six-piece servings, bringing a touch of coastal indulgence to the Ipswich dining scene.
For those who prefer their seafood with a traditional twist, the menu features pan-seared Atlantic salmon, barramundi grilled or crumbed, creamy garlic prawns and the Captain’s Catch Seafood Basket.
And if oysters are your weakness, natural and Kilpatrick varieties are available by the half-dozen or dozen.
Of course, it would not be the Longhorn Bar & Grill without a serious selection of steaks.
The grill menu showcases Darling Downs beef, including a 250g rump, a generous 400g rump, a 200g eye fillet and a 300g rib fillet.
For those who like their meals big on flavour, the hickory-smoked pork ribs are another standout, with a half serving or full serving accompanied by chips and coleslaw.
Pub favourites have not been forgotten, with chicken schnitzel, chicken parmigiana and a meat lover’s parmi piled with barbecue sauce, ham, pepperoni, ground beef and mozzarella.
For something a little lighter on a warm Queensland day, diners can choose from a Thai beef salad bowl, classic Caesar salad or golden haloumi bowl, featuring lentils, chickpeas and lemon dressing.
The Longhorn Bar & Grill offers lunch from 11am to 2pm and dinner from 5pm to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday, with all-day dining from 11am to 8.30pm Friday to Sunday.
