CHANNEL 9 has delivered an early New Year gift for reality TV fans, confirming when the next season of Married at First Sight Australia will return to screens.

The ratings juggernaut is locked in for an early February launch on Nine Network, once the Australian Open wraps up and the network once again clears the runway for what is expected to be the biggest reality series of the year.

The 2026 season marks the show’s 13th outing, continuing its reign as one of the most talked-about and dissected formats on Australian television.

A fresh group of hopeful singles from around the country will once again take the now-familiar leap of faith, walking down the aisle to marry a complete stranger. As ever, the social experiment promises its trademark mix of romance, conflict and headline-making moments.

Dinner Parties and Commitment Ceremonies are set to drive weekly conversation, with producers teasing plenty of fireworks as relationships are tested under intense scrutiny.

Season 13 will also introduce new twists, including a revamped chapter of Revelations Week, while Final Test

Week returns with an added layer designed to push couples towards make-or-break decisions late in the experiment.

The expert trio – Alessandra Rampolla, John Aiken and Mel Schilling – are back, while the broader MAFS universe continues to expand. Nine-owned streamer Stan will again host the weekly companion series MAFS: After The Dinner Party, airing after each Dinner Party episode.

Produced by Endemol Shine Australia for the Nine Network, Married at First Sight Australia 2026 is positioned as Channel 9’s major post-summer play.

It premieres on Monday, February 2 at 7.30pm on Channel 9, with episodes also available to stream on 9Now.
