DON’T let anyone tell you our kids aren’t tough.

Almost 130 revealed that getting up with the alarm set for 6am on a Sunday was no dramas nor was taking on a triathlon before breakfast.

The annual Rotary TuffKids event celebrated 20 years on the weekend and once again it proved a resounding success.

The pool at Ipswich High might have been chilly and crossing a few speed humps on trainer wheels a little difficult, but you couldn’t wipe the smiles off the kid’s faces.

A banana, a bottle of water and a medal kept everyone happy at TuffKids 2022.
