FROM platypus walks and birdwatching adventures to tree planting along the Bremer River, Ipswich residents are being invited to experience the region’s natural wonders when the Peaks to Points Festival returns with a packed program of free and low-cost activities.
The festival celebrates the network of creek catchments stretching from the mountain peaks of Ipswich through to the coastline south of the Brisbane River.
Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding said the festival offered a unique opportunity for people of all ages to reconnect with nature while learning about the importance of protecting local waterways and bushland.
The full Peaks to Points Festival program, including activity details and registrations, is available at peakstopoints.com.au.
