Club Secretary John Gaudry said the group was already attracting interest from local residents looking to stay involved in the community.

“Probus is about creating a space where people can come together, share stories, enjoy guest speakers, outings and activities, and make lasting friendships,” Mr Gaudry said.

“We’re excited to see this club take shape in Raceview and become a hub for social connection.”

Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at the Ipswich Showground Reception Centre, providing a comfortable and welcoming venue for members to gather.

The Probus Club of Raceview is now inviting new members to join and be part of its founding chapter. Anyone interested in learning more or attending a meeting contact the club at [email protected] or find them on Facebook at Raceview Probus.
