RIVERLINK Shopping Centre is officially unveiling The Link this Saturday, a revitalised dining, entertainment and lifestyle precinct designed to completely transform how Ipswich locals eat, socialise and spend a night out.

The Link reimagines a key section of Riverlink’s East Mall into a 400sqm multi-use destination combining eateries, entertainment, live music and interactive experiences in one connected precinct.

Positioned between River-link’s retail offering and the nearby riverfront, the refreshed space has been designed to encourage visitors to settle in and experience more than just lunch or dinner.

The Link features seven eateries alongside entertainment venues including iPlay and Limelight Cinemas, plus more than 110 additional indoor and outdoor seats spread across alfresco areas, interactive dining spaces and communal gathering zones.

Whether you’re after a big night out, a relaxed family dinner or just somewhere genuinely different to spend a weekend afternoon, The Link has been built with you in mind.

One of the biggest changes to the precinct is the introduction of QR code ordering, allowing visitors to order food from participating venues and dine anywhere throughout the space with straight-to-table delivery.

The Link has been purpose-built to transition from daytime dining into an energetic night-time destination, complete with LED see-saws, illuminated ping pong table, neon-lit seating and interactive entertainment designed for all ages.

Officially launching this Saturday, Riverlink will host a full evening of free entertainment from 5pm till 9pm including live music by BenJam Band and Jessica Holbrok across two stages, and electric acrobatic and fire shows.

There will also be roaming performers including a magician, disco ball dancers, stilt walkers, LED balloon artist, UV face painter and so much more.

Adding to the excitement, the first 250 guests will receive a complimentary mocktail from The Vintage Bar Co, while a free roaming dessert bar will serve sweet treats.

Following the launch weekend activities, ongoing programming will take place at The Link with pop-up festivities, live music and family-friendly activations and events.

The Vintage Bar Co will be serving drinks from their pop-up bar, Saturday from 5pm to 9pm and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm.

Leda Holdings’ Jamie Sneyd said the precinct had been developed in response to Ipswich’s rapid growth and increasing demand for elevated lifestyle experiences.

“We’ve invested heavily in creating a space where people can come together, spend time with family and friends, enjoy entertainment and experience something new for Ipswich.”

Following the launch weekend, The Link will continue hosting regular live music, pop-up activations, trivia nights, workshops and community events throughout the year.
