The Rusty Nail is a gem in the centre of the Nicholas Street Precinct that continues to serve up great times for any occasion from date nights through to parties and functions.

Established in 2021 they are open Thursday through Sunday with a great range of drinks, tapas, and eats.

With the mantra of redefining the heart of Ipswich, the team at this cosy but upbeat nook are doing just that through their menus, live music and even an underground wine bar.

With an ever-changing drinks menu, that has The Rusty Nail, a mix of Chivas Regal and Drambuie at its peak partnered with the iconic Ink Gin and Cointreau blended The Jacaranda Bloom – they have the drink for all diners, moods, and occasions.

The menu at The Rusty Nail away from the traditional Tapas fare is also proudly shareable or ‘family-style’ including a charcuterie board and queso board.

The Rusty Nail is also hosting cocktail making classes and wine and cheese tasting sessions, in a move to offer more to the faithful and open up their diner base with the master stroke.

Both sessions must be booked online and to sell out quickly. The cocktail classes allow you to go on an enchanting afternoon of mixology mastery and take part in at their “Sip & Shake” Cocktail class offering a unique opportunity to take a trip into the world of craft cocktails. The Rusty Nail takes pride in offering the sessions to everybody no matter your experience, whether you’re a seasoned cocktail connoisseur or a curious beginner.

The wine and cheese tasting sessions are also very interactive and informative and offer four pairings included in your booking.

Right now, every Thursday from 4PM you can now also grab a mouth-watering burger and beverage for $25 in their bargain of a deal.

So what are you waiting for! When your work day is done and you need to blow off steam head down the mall and see what all the fuss is about as owners Emma and John along with their team wash away the 9-5 blues.

The Rusty Nail is located at 44 Ipswich City Mall and is open from 4PM to late Thursday through Saturday and opens earlier at 2PM every Sunday.
