IT’S not long now before the lazy, hazy days of the summer holidays sweep us up.

The students at Arts Alive won’t be taking a break instead they are preparing for their ‘End of Year Student Art Exhibition.’

Arts Alive has more than 70 students enrolled in the last term and all will have art displayed at the exhibition.

Director of Arts Alive, Susan Matulich, said that she was amazed at the talent of this year’s students who ages range from five years to over 90.

Susan said that the opening night is a popular annual event and everyone is welcome to come and view the works of the students.

It’s on Friday, December 2 at 6pm in the Arts Alive Studios, 5 Jacaranda Street, East Ipswich.

If you can’t make the opening night, the exhibition will be open on December 3-4 from 10am to 2pm.
