Not-for-profit Drug ARM officially opened a service hub at Ipswich City Mall last Thursday. It offers a multi-space centre where Ipswich residents can participate in free drug and alcohol support programs.

The opening followed a relocation of Drug ARM’s regional drug and alcohol supports to the one shared site, allowing for more room and easier access.

Speaking at the event, Drug ARM’s executive director Brad Strong said the new hub marked an exciting development for the Ipswich community. “As our programs grew, we needed more space, and we quickly saw the benefits of establishing a single hub in Ipswich,” he said.

“Whether requiring support for prevention, early concerns or more intensive treatment through individual, group, family or day rehab programs, Ipswich residents only need find their way to one local site on the Ipswich City Mall.”
