TV BLACKBOX

WITH just 50 days until the opening ceremony, TV Blackbox has revealed the full on-air lineup set to lead Seven’s coverage of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

The network has assembled one of its strongest ever commentary and hosting teams, blending veteran broadcasters with elite former athletes who collectively boast 34 Commonwealth Games medals.

At the centre of the coverage will be legendary Australian sports broadcaster Bruce McAvaney, who will headline Seven’s athletics coverage from Glasgow alongside former Commonwealth Games gold medallist Tamsyn Manou, seasoned commentator Jason Richardson and athletics analyst David Culbert.

Seven’s host lineup features familiar faces including Matt Shirvington, Emma Freedman, Mel McLaughlin and Johanna Griggs.

Seven confirmed the Games would be broadcast live and free across 22 channels spanning Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport.
