CREATIVE Hearts was born from a recognised gap in the Springfield region.

Founded by a collective of local artists and creatives, the organisation began with a simple but ambitious vision: create meaningful opportunities for artists in a community where dedicated exhibition spaces were scarce.

After securing support from Springfield City Group, the team launched its first pop-up gallery in late 2024, transforming a temporary tenancy into a professional exhibition space featuring the work of 15 local artists.

“We didn’t just create a pop-up –we created a gallery,” the team said.

That success paved the way for a permanent home, with Creative Hearts now hosting a year-round program of exhibitions, workshops and community events designed to showcase local talent while building connections between artists and audiences.

Rather than viewing visitors as customers, the group sees its space as a community hub – one that celebrates creativity, connection and opportunity.

To ensure there is always something new to discover, the gallery introduces a fresh exhibition theme each month, creating regular opportunities for emerging and established artists to exhibit their work.

The current exhibition, Rising Voices, runs until August 8 and celebrates the creativity and perspectives of young artists aged 12 to 25, exploring themes including identity, culture, the environment and personal storytelling.

As part of the exhibition program, participants have experimented with mixed media, collage, clay, cardboard sculpture, acrylic painting and drawing before having the opportunity to exhibit their work.

The exhibition will be followed by Limitless from August 11 to September 19, celebrating artists who see the world differently.

The exhibition encourages participation from artists of all abilities, highlighting creativity as a universal language that transcends barriers.
