SAM Pang is heading back behind the desk, with 10 confirming the return date for the third season of Sam Pang Tonight.
Australia’s late-night comedy offering will return on Monday, October 19 at 8.40pm, with Pang bringing another eight episodes of monologues, celebrity interviews, sketches and the unpredictable Wheel of Segments.
The new season comes with a little extra shine after Pang claimed the Gold Logie earlier this year, adding another milestone to a period that has seen the comedian become one of Australian television’s most recognisable faces.
Sam Pang Tonight first hit screens in March 2025 before returning for a second eight-episode run later that year, gradually finding its groove with Pang’s trademark dry humour, self-deprecation and unconventional approach to interviewing celebrities.
Season two attracted an eclectic guest list, with international stars including Rosie O’Donnell, Priscilla Presley, Michael Weatherly and Eddie Izzard joining Pang.
Australian heavyweights Russell Crowe, Rachel Griffiths, Angus Sampson and Harriet Dyer were also among those to take a seat opposite the host.
Pang has remained busy away from his late-night desk, including appearing in the ABC series Ground Up during 2026.
The latest promotional campaign suggests some of the program’s running jokes will also survive the break, with the much-discussed guest chair once again getting its moment in the spotlight.
The third season will take over 10’s Monday night comedy slot following the conclusion of the 2026 season of Have You Been Paying Attention?
That is, of course, another program with which Pang has long been closely associated.
With a Gold Logie now on the shelf and two seasons of late-night television under his belt, Pang will be hoping the third time proves particularly charming.
