THE Rugby League Ipswich Presentation Night was a fantastic way to officially bring the 2026 season to a close, with players, coaches, officials, volunteers and club representatives coming together to celebrate another memorable year.
For one night, the jerseys were swapped for good clothes as the Rugby League Ipswich family dressed up and enjoyed an evening recognising the outstanding performances and contributions made throughout the season.
The biggest individual honour went to Fassifern Bombers star Henri Stocks, who had a night to remember, taking home the prestigious Rugby League Ipswich Player of the Year award.
Stocks also added the Representative Player of the Year and Most Points awards to his collection, capping off an outstanding season.
In Reserve Grade, Luke Jamison of the Norths Tigers was named Reserve Grade Player of the Year, while the Volunteers Cup honours went to Jack Sloan of the Laidley Lions and Ligi Nona-Hansel of Redbank.
Norths Tigers Star Tavita Pomale took out Rookie of the Year, while Brothers’ Emily Jackwitz was recognised as the Female Representative Player of the Year.
The Coaching Awards recognised the important work done away from the spotlight, with Junior Mananu from Goodna Seniors and Braeden Kelly from Norths Juniors named Coaches of the Year.
The officials were also recognised for their important contribution to the game. Thomas Bridge was named Rookie Referee of the Year, while Hayden Philp took out the Juniors Referee Award and Riley Anderson was recognised as Seniors Referee of the Year.
Club success was also celebrated, with Norths Tigers Juniors and Fassifern Bombers Seniors being crowned Club Champions.
One of the most special awards of the night went to Rugby League Ipswich Director Andrew Boxsell, who received the Outstanding Contribution to Rugby League in Ipswich award in recognition of his hard work throughtout 2026.
