COUNTRY music legends Brooks & Dunn are heading back to Australia for the first time in almost two decades, leading a blockbuster line-up bound for Ipswich as CMC Rocks QLD celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Brooks & Dunn, Eric Church and Ashley McBryde will headline the milestone festival when thousands of country music fans descend on Willowbank Raceway from March 19-21, 2027.
The bumper line-up also features Kameron Marlowe, Parker McCollum, Turnpike Troubadours, Blake Whiten, 49 Winchester, Randall King, Lanie Gardner, Kaylee Bell, Lane Pittman and dozens more international and Australian acts.
For Brooks & Dunn, the trip marks a long-awaited return to Australia almost two decades after their last visit and their first appearance at CMC Rocks.
While Brooks & Dunn will be making their return Down Under, fellow headliner Eric Church will be heading to Australia for the first time.
The seven-time ACM Award and four-time CMA Award winner has earned 11 Grammy nominations and built a huge international following through hits including Drink In My Hand, Springsteen and Talladega.
His long-awaited Australian debut is expected to be one of the highlights of the three-day Willowbank festival.
Ashley McBryde, meanwhile, knows her way around CMC Rocks.
The Grammy, CMA and ACM Award winner and Grand Ole Opry member will make her third appearance at the festival after performing in 2019 and 2023.
For Ipswich, CMC Rocks has grown into much more than a music festival, becoming one of the city’s signature annual events and bringing thousands of visitors through the gates at Willowbank.
Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding said the city was ready to tip its hat to country music fans and some of the world’s biggest artists.
“CMC Rocks has become one of Ipswich’s signature events, and we are thrilled to welcome some of the biggest names in country music and thousands of visitors back to our city for another unforgettable festival,” Mayor Harding said.
“Ipswich has proudly been the home of CMC Rocks for a decade, and our community is ready to dust off our boots for another incredible weekend of music, entertainment and country hospitality again in 2027.”
