Following the success of last year’s performance of the ‘Caged Birds’, director Suzanne Matulich of the Crossfyre Players is once again going to entertain the masses with another absurdist theatre production.

Recently Suzanne held a reading where people got the chance to hear a play read by local actors and to find out more about Absurbist Theatre and in particular the play ‘Impromptu’ a one act play by Tad Mosec.

Suzanne said that the reading was an opportunity for potential actors to get the feel and ambience of the play.

The auditions for ‘Impromptu’ and three other one act plays were held after the reading and actors, Linda Shapcott, Sammy Warburton, Brian Jantz and Glen Smith scored the roles in “Impromptu” while actors Chris Sullivan, Autumn Barn, Mark Richardson, and Abijah MacRae will star in the other one act plays.
