TAFE Queensland was proud to join the Greater Springfield business community at the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) Marquee Business Excellence Awards, recognising the local organisations, leaders and innovators helping shape one of Queensland’s fastest-growing regions.
As sponsor of the Education and Training Award, TAFE Queensland celebrated the impact of education and training in a city with learning at its heart and where schools, training providers, employers and the university work together to create opportunities and enrich the lives of people living and working in the community.
TAFE Queensland Director, Customer and Student Experience (South West Region) Charlotte Batley said TAFE Queensland was proud to recognise Springfield’s strong education ecosystem and the collective effort behind it.
“Education has the power to change lives, whether that is through academic achievement, meaningful employment outcomes or creating opportunities for people to reach their potential,” Ms Batley said.
“We congratulate all the nominees and extend our special congratulations to this year’s winner, Hymba Yumba Independent School, for its significant contribution to education and training across the region.”
