INTRAPAC Property is pleased to announce that the sale of the proposed neighbourhood retail site at Whiterock Village is under contract to Woolworths, marking a major milestone in the delivery of one of Queensland’s most thoughtfully planned communities.

Situated on Sandstone Boulevard, the centrally located retail site will become a convenient neighbourhood centre for Whiterock residents and surrounding areas.

Anchored by a state-of the art full line Woolworths supermarket with an online offering to service the local catchment, the centre will also include a range of complementary speciality retailers and a food and dining precinct, creating an everyday shopping destination within walking and cycling distance of local homes.

The new retail centre forms an integral part of the broader Whiterock Village precinct, which brings together shopping, education, recreation and open space in one connected heart of the community. The Village already features the much-loved adventure playground and is seamlessly linked to homes via the Greenlink Park network of landscaped parklands and shared paths.

Construction is also underway on the sports and recreation ovals, which will provide important active recreation infrastructure for residents of all ages. Looking ahead, a new primary school scheduled to open in 2028 will further strengthen Whiterock Village as a family-focused hub designed around daily ease and long-term liveability.

“Securing Woolworths for Whiterock Village is a significant step in delivering on our vision for a truly connected community,” Intrapac Property CEO Maxwell Shifman said. “This retail centre will complement the sports and recreation facilities, education, parks and playgrounds, ensuring residents can meet their everyday needs locally while enjoying a strong sense of place.”

Woolworths is currently in the early stages of preparing a development application for the site, and will keep the community informed as plans progress

Together, the Whiterock Village retail centre, open spaces and community infrastructure represent a key investment in the ongoing growth, convenience and liveability of Whiterock.
